Resolved Question: Which books should be in every private library?

When I grow up (Oh, that phrase we so often use), I want to have a private library. I take interest in classical literature and especially science history. My favorite periods of literature would have to be the Enlightenment and Romanticism (basically the 18th and the 19th century). I would most definitely include influential science works such as Euclid's Elements and Newton's Principia.
